The Climb of Mount Ophir

Four friends, all alike in dignity, in fair Melaka where we lay our scene…
Ok I shall cut that crap. My best friends and I had just conquered a mountain and it wasn’t even in our checklist for this year! Lol! Arif’s colleague randomly suggested mountain climbing and the rest of us were invited by Arif. [...]

Euro Trip Preparation

Ok this is coming almost a month late but I am still blogging about this because I am getting very hyped up everytime I think about my euro backpackers trip. Lol!

Bought the Euro rail passes a day before valentine’s day last month for the whole gang. Now we only have accommodation, food and leisure [...]

Jazz @ Southbridge

Had a great time on Valentines evening even though our group was incomplete, for our most lovable buddy had some other plans already. Planned by the Architect, Mr Arif, we chilled at a Jazz Bar cum Restaurant at Boat Quay.

No I didn’t get lucky with any girl. Didn’t plan for that either. [...]

A little Angel is Born

A new member to the family has been added last week. Her name is Adeenah, the noble one.
I was just so excited for the past few weeks that whenever my brother calls me, I thought that my sister-in-law was in labor.

Now finally I get to see my little angel. She’s just so adorable. [...]

My best friends and I had just conquered a mountain and it wasn’t even in our checklist for this year! Lol! Arif’s colleague randomly suggested mountain climbing and the rest of us were invited by Arif. It was an unplanned, unorganized but surprisingly it turned out quite well. The four of us took a four hour train ride on Friday evening to a place called Segamat in Johore, Malaysia,... more

Bought the Euro rail passes a day before valentine’s day last month for the whole gang. Now we only have accommodation, food and leisure to care about in Europe. It cost us S$678/- for the 15 days (2nd class - Youth) global pass but with this we will probably not take any budget flights throughout our trip. Yeah! We’ll see... more

It was just a chill out night with good friends. Surprisingly we saw a lot of all girl groups out there. But I guess all of us didn’t have the mood to approach the opposite sex. more  Read More →

Is it Halal enough?

Posted by Deen Yusoff On December - 18 - 20085 COMMENTS

I can’t help but to blog about the issue on “Halal-ness” of an eatery after what I’ve read. I am sorry for those who think that I am being a busybody but since the so called private debate was public, I believe I am entitled to my own personal view. As you guys mentioned at the end of the debate, “To each his own”. The argument is about how Halal is an eatery and if is wrong, or should I say forbidden, for a Muslim to eat and drink at a place he or she feels “Was-Was” or doubtful... more

Being hopeful…

Posted by Deen Yusoff On December - 7 - 20084 COMMENTS

What happens to a man when he loses everything? Everything he has worked for… everything he believed in… I had always been hopeful… Hopeful for the good things in life… Hopeful for the betterment in the quality of my life…but being hopeful is just not enough… Don’t you wish sometimes that you have no feelings? So that you will not be caught up with emotions at all. The very person that lifts you up sky high… could crush you down to the ground. I am going through those... more

Coding Madness Over! Exam Fever Begins…

Finally finished one of my worst modules in NUS! The great…CS3214 - INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. This project took away my sleep, my time for other modules and even my “life”. Well my team and I took it slow in the beginning of the semester but whacked it all the way on the last week to produce 10 subsystems which is 2 more than required. It really is an amazing experience. I got a great team who knows how to take a break when it was full of tension. We actually went to our... more

Samsung CLP-310 - Smallest Color Laser Printer

Posted by Deen Yusoff On September - 9 - 2008ADD COMMENTS

This comes a little late. My sister just bought me the smallest colour laser printer in the market, the Samsung CLP-310, at the Comex on 31st August 2008. It was so hard to walk around but it came with a great deal. For just S$268/- it comes with a trolley (if they didn’t give this I wouldn’t have bought it of course!), 3 years warranty and a 1gb small and cute necklace style MP3 player. more  Read More →
