Okay I know this came a little late..half an hour after Singapore won the bid to host the Youth Olympics, my Dad called me up just to tell me about it! Well, I guess it’s a great opportunity for Singapore to earn from this.

Finally we get to host something thats fun. Well to some people at least.
By 2010 will the “Integrated Resorts” be opened? Then we can probably rip off the tourists’ cash and earn as much as we can.
Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m just happy that I would get to watch the Olympics live in 2010.
Cheers!

Some of my relatives (Uncles debating about politics over dinner =x) were saying that Singapore pulled strings to get the Olympics to be hosted in Singapore.Lol!
Not sure how true that is. But some of them were so confident that Singapore knew we were winning the bid before hand. That’s why we see the posters everywhere about supporting the bid for Olympics for the first time.
I beg to differ of course. I would support the bid even if I know Singapore won’t win the bid. Hahaha.
Anyway, I guess Singapore ain’t that small as they call the whole Island a city.
Maybe they will finally utilize all the Stadiums for the Olympics instead of just using the Stadiums for S-League and School’s Sports Day.
