If you are a Singaporean, you would have probably heard about the ever famous Singapore Zoo icon, Ah Meng. I remember growing up hearing about Ah Meng and had even visited her at the Zoo many times. The ever famous primate that I know of other than Bubbles (The chimp that lived with Michael Jackson for many years.)
Today however, is a sad day for Singapore. Our dear Ah Meng had just passed away. She died at the age of 48 human years. She died out of old age and Singapore’s Zoological Gardens will be holding a memorial service for her this coming Sunday at 11am.

Somehow I was kinda excited about it. The last time I was in a service that broke down was like more than 5 years ago. It is such a very rare incident!
