It has been quite sometime since I watched a good comedy at the cinema and I read many reviews online on how disappointing this “Get Smart” movie was but I beg to differ. I enjoyed the show though I prefer Jim Carrey’s “Liar Liar” and “Bruce Almighty” better.
Steve Carrell did a great job as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway (Agent 99) is just hot. It is more of a situational comedy then scripted comedy so don’t expect brilliant jokes from the guy’s mouth. Steve Carrell is a good enough reason to watch the show as I personally think that he pulled it off quite well.
Well, I am not gonna tell you guys the story here. Go watch it yourself.

I went to watch the same show with Ya Ni. It was really funny. She enjoyed it and laughed so much that she got tired after the show. Whoever made those reviews online are either people who have no sense of humor or they were too… Lets not go there. Haha!

I agree with you iswandi, most of the times it’s not the movie’s fault, but the critic’s.
Shows can be excellent, but if you simply don’t favour some particular genre of movie, you’d definitely not like it.
Deen, I’m gonna catch that movie soon! ARGH.

Iswandi: Yeah, Siti and I had a great laugh ourselves. True enough after laughing so much, we got shagged hahaha.
Khairul: I think bad reviews gets more hits online that’s why they do more of that. Lol! Anyway you should catch it as soon as possible. Don’t bother with Zohan though. =x

Get Smart looks okay over all though it seems like Steve Carell is veering toward an excess of slapstick humor
