Okay, we planned to visit the Singapore National Museum today after I finished teaching my lovely students at Mendaki, but after dropping off at Dhoby Ghaut, our planned changed. The blame goes to me of course! My tummy grumbled. I had the sudden craving for Seoul Garden’s “Do it yourself” Buffet and as we all know, at a buffet, we won’t be leaving the place less than 2 hours. Lol!
So we headed down under the blazing sun towards Ngee Ann City’s Seoul Garden. Siti just didn’t believe me when I said there is one at Ngee Ann City. Well anyway, we arrived at Seoul Garden like I said there was and got 2 adult buffet package with Tom Yum base! Sounds great rite?! Siti had been craving for Tom Yum and Seoul Garden, so this should make her really really happy.
Took lots of raw meat, BBQ-ed them for hours and gobbled them down. Well, had problems with cooking the food on my side of the “hot” pan. Somehow, my side of the pan wasn’t really cooking the food. I got quite frustrated before I got the hang of it. Then Siti cooked, tasted the food and got high on them. =x
We were there for more than 2 hours cooking, eating, cooking and eating which we then end the meal with a few scoops of Ice Cream. Siti took one of each flavour.
Ok, with bloated tummies we went “Kai Kai” or “Jalan Jalan” as how Singapore’s common tongue says it. Walked to ease off the discomfort and to look for some clothes for myself. Took couple of snaps before going shopping.
Visited Marks & Spencer at Paragon but didn’t buy myself clothes there. Instead we bought biscuits and cookies. Weird right? I know both of love the cookies from Marks & Spencer.
Then we dropped by at Esprit, Wisma Atria. Surprised to meet my old secondary school friend (Not mentioning his name here to retain his privacy from his work place). Well, we were room buddies along with one of my best friends during our school trip to Sarawak, Borneo. On top of that nice surprise he gave me a great discount and I still can’t believe he did that! Thanks bro! I really appreciate it.
Those are the stuff I got for myself. Got a bag for Siti since all of them were heavily discounted. Very worth to spend my money there because of my friend. Then we chilled at Starbucks Cafe just opposite Esprit. Thirsty and tired of walking.
Spent quite a long time at Starbucks Wisma. Siti’s feet was aching and had blisters due to walking too much. Such delicate feet. But it was getting late so we made our move and I sent her back to her place.
We didn’t feel like going home straight and ended up spending more time at the bus stop. Lol! But night caught up on us and we had to part our ways and go back home. Had a great day with Siti. Hope she enjoyed herself too.
Signing off with luv,
Deen Yusoff

Hahaha. You sure don’t remember who shared the room with me during our Sarawak trip? He’s tall, dark and handsome. ;D Wears glasses and is great at skate boarding. If you still don’t know who he is, ask me on MSN. Lol!
