Samsung CLP-310 Box

This comes a little late. My sister just bought me the smallest colour laser printer in the market, the Samsung CLP-310, at the Comex on 31st August 2008. It was so hard to walk around but it came with a great deal. For just S$268/- it comes with a trolley (if they didn’t give this I wouldn’t have bought it of course!), 3 years warranty and a 1gb small and cute necklace style MP3 player.

Ok, I’ve been bugged by so many people asking me why Subvisualshub.com doesn’t offer Unlimited plans when it seems to be a norm out there. Time and time again, I have to explain to people that Unlimited Plans are all a scam. Before you purchase these unlimited plans, please read your terms and conditions as well as your service level agreement. You’ll realize that there is a clause about abusive usage of account.

That includes trying to fully utilize what you “thought” you paid for. So I decided to once and for all let those who believe that Unlimited Plans are a dream come true understand that it is Too Good To Be True! I randomly chose one of the Top 10 hostings sites, StartLogic and had a short chat with their live sales.

WD-Irresistible

Just bought a new portable hard disk drive yesterday unplanned. I guess I need a dedicated HDD since my IPod Video got fried right after replacing its LCD screen which had a dead line in between the screen. Thank you Apple for making your products so easy to part with.

I have just downloaded the not so new Mozilla browser, Flock 2.0 Beta. I simply think its great! It was built on top of Firefox 3 so Firefox users would know that it has improved performance and all kinds of features and…IT BEATS IE7 HANDS DOWN!

On top of that, I didn’t even log into Antblogz to post this. All with the courtesy of Flock’s blog editor! Well it is a simple blog editor and not customized with Antblogz’s extra features so you won’t be able to post photos from your database in Antblogz or link it to the Flickr account like how you would do on Antblogz’s post writer. But its great to create a draft with and save on Antblogz so that you just have to come online to insert your uploaded pictures into position. This will help you avoid losing the long written post due to an expired session.

Now my Flock is linked to my Flickr, Facebook, Antblogz, YouTube, Gmail and Yahoo! Mail. Perfect. Anticipating more exciting features in Flock. :)  I also have lots of blogs that I like to read on the RSS on Flock, so whenever they are updated, so will I!

Happy to have a fast performing browser on my Vista.

I’ve been wondering which is better for quite sometime especially when news about how Yahoo! might collapse in the near future. So I did a comparison on the services offered by the two giants. Here’s the list that I came out with.

Hope I didn’t miss anything out and is useful to some people as it is to me. :)

Finally I got to visit the National Museum of Singapore. A must go for Arts lovers! I don’t only mean the drawings! Enjoyed every bit of it. From the Living Galleries to the History Gallery. The History Gallery gives you a personalized experience where you will get to go about with a personal companion the size of an exercise book. Well if you are interested but can’t seem to find the time to visit the museums just follow me and get a sneek peek at the National Museum of Singapore. ;)

29th June 2008

Okay, we planned to visit the Singapore National Museum today after I finished teaching my lovely students at Mendaki, but after dropping off at Dhoby Ghaut, our planned changed. The blame goes to me of course! My tummy grumbled. I had the sudden craving for Seoul Garden’s “Do it yourself” Buffet and as we all know, at a buffet, we won’t be leaving the place less than 2 hours. Lol!

It has been quite sometime since I watched a good comedy at the cinema and I read many reviews online on how disappointing this “Get Smart” movie was but I beg to differ. I enjoyed the show though I prefer Jim Carrey’s “Liar Liar” and “Bruce Almighty” better.

Get Smart - Steve Carell

Steve Carrell did a great job as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway (Agent 99) is just hot.  It is more of a situational comedy then scripted comedy so don’t expect brilliant jokes from the guy’s mouth. Steve Carrell is a good enough reason to watch the show as I personally think that he pulled it off quite well.

Well, I am not gonna tell you guys the story here. Go watch it yourself. :D

Had a good laugh,
